Basic face routine for all skin types.

     Having a good skin care regimen is an important part of your health as well as you well being. Your probably wondering why skin care is this important. For Example, If you are out in the sun every day without sunscreen.... your skin gets sun damage. It might not be noticeable at that moment but down the line it will. It is proven that  people get the most sun damage in their teen years than they do their hole life time. So in your 40`s or 50`s these spots are going to show, and its harder to take them away than it is to protect them. By the way those tiny little Sun Spots can turn into Melanoma/ Skin Cancer.So its important to keep your skin in the best condition possible. For your health and well being.  So I have a Basic skin care routine that can get you on your way to beautiful skin. :)
        



Mornings:
       Wash your face with a cleanser for your skin type. I have Combination skin so I wash my face with Decongestant Cleanser from  Bio-elements. http://www.bioelements.com. Then you always want to make your skin go back to the natural pH of your skin for the Cleanser can take its full effect. I also use Bio-Elements Equalizer Spray. Then you want apply a moisturizer for your skin type, and of course an SPF. If you have fair skin like me you need to use a SPF 50, but if you have a deeper skin color and rarely burn you can you a regular SPF 15 nothing below a 15 level.


 Evening: 
       Take off makeup with a makeup remover. Make sure you get most of your makeup off  
especially Foundation and Concealer. Then Balance it again with a Toner or Equalizer that I use. You want to balance your skin every time you cleanse for the cleanser can take effect and  to prep your skin for the moisturizer. It also helps your pores to close during the cleansing process.  Then 2x a week use a exfoliater to revitalize your skin during the week. Then After you properly cleanse you use a Treatment cream to help with you problem areas like dark circles,dark spots,wrinkles ect. After that you apply your regular moisturizer. You can use any kind of moisturizer that can help you skin type. If you have Acne  skin use a sensitive skin or even better a anti clog (which everyone should have anyways) moisturizer.

Clean and Clear Body Boost
(Mango and Papaya)





    Clean and Clear has a new product out!It is a Body wash that is supposed to energize and refresh your skin. I have tried this product yesterday I bought the "Mango & Papaya" and I have to say it was one of the best body washes I have ever bought. It does everything it say it does. I went into the shower felling gross and tired.I walked out of there feeling replenished and energized! No Joke. When you use it with a Basic Loofah it lathers up so much you only need a small amount so this product lasts a long time. It is about $5.00-$6.00 (Depending were you live), so its just a tad bit pricey for a wash but it certainly worth the couple extra dollars. I will defiantly buy more products from this line.

BURLESQUE MAKEUP

 About This Look:
 This look was inspired by the art of Burlesque.Very Flamboyant, and of course very Sexy. The look is made up of Red Glitter,a intense black cut crease,and False Lashes with tons of glitz. For the cheeks I went very dark with a Dark Red blush,and a Dark Red Lip.

My name is Meagen Elizabeth I am a highly experienced Makeup Artist in the Sacramento Area. I have been doing Makeup since I was 15 and but the time I was 16 I landed an amazing opportunity to work with a well-known Hair Stylist and Designer. Since then I have done numerous shows such as Sacramento State College Annual Fashion Show, Hair Wars, Professional Photo shoots, and Featured Spots on Good Day Sacramento. When I was 17 I graduated High School and two months later went to Federico's Beauty Institute. While I was there I was awarded 1st place in the Halloween Makeup Competition, and was given knowledge and experience in the beauty Industry. After months of hard work I graduated from Beauty School and I now have a valid license as an Esthetician in the State of California, and I am currently pursuing my education as a Cosmologist at Paul Mitchell Hair Academy in Sacramento, Ca.
